R.I.P. Steve Jobs 1955 – 2011

Pixar. Apple. MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPad, Logic Pro, Final Cut, iCloud, iOS, OSX, etc. A true innovator that has actually impacted the way we all live and create. Rest in Paradise.

‎”Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs, Stanford University, 2005.

Casio Launches G-Shock App for iPhone

Casio has just launched this application for Apple, in promotion of their G-SHOCK watch series. The app contains two mini-games designed to highlight G-SHOCK’s most prominent features: its water resistance and its toughness. One game challenges the user to break the virtual G-SHOCK, whilst the other allows the user to try and sink the watch the bottom of the ocean. Moreover, those watches obtained during gameplay can be saved to your Apple device and used as the clock, complete with most of the watch’s functions. The app is now available from the app-store and is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch, and the iPad, but requires an iPhone with an OS of 3.1.3 or higher.
