This song sure has a backstory. Lupe recorded this for Lasers and was performing it live at the Steppin Lasers Tour. Then Atlantic began their foolery and during the stalemate of the negotiations, shelved the album (as you all know). The producer of the track then sold the song to a UK artist named Tinchy Stryder, and it’ll be featured on his upcoming album. ANOTHER rapper named Lazee has a version of this song somehow too…this should’ve definitely been on Lasers though.
