Music is meant to be created, curated, and shared. It’s been a mission of mine to do just that through Sound of February and I’m always looking for new ways to expand how we share sounds and the feelings that accompany them. This is why I’m excited to partner with KiaNaturally.com and Niven Quaye on a biweekly YouTube playlist series called “So Close To Summer”.
First off, I want to say thanks so much to everyone who checked out the previous episode, it was our grand opening and we’re glad that the experience we curated was able to resonate with people. Creating these lists around…a particular idea is like telling a story without being able to use any of your own words, but it’s a beautiful thing if you’re able to succeed in telling it.
We’re calling this episode “The Thrill”. We wanted to capture songs that communicated the whole range of feelings that come with the thrill of a moment, whether that’s a night turning up, intimacy, or the the consequences that come from actions done in the name of the thrill.
